PD Trip 2008

My excitement of going to Port Dickson (PD) last Wednesday cannot be concealed anymore. Right at 6.00 p.m., I punched out from office and sped my dad's Kembara all the way from my office in Kota Kemuning to The Regency Hotel, PD (they stay there). I arrived there after 90 minutes drive using the ELITE highway, took the KLIA exit and drive via Sepang-Bukit Pelandok-PD route. I have no problem to find the hotel that is situated in Tg. Tuan as it is located by the main road. I had dinner prepared by my mom and my aunt (it was a 2-families holiday). The salad was nice and tasted good. Then we went to Dataran Teluk Kemang and there was a performance by the Army's band and Nas Adila (anyone have any clue who she is?). The band performed with full energy and I was really enjoyed to their energetic performance compared to Nas Adila's. The performance started to get boring when Nas Adila was performing and we made our move back to the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, I quickly changed from my office attire to shorts and shirts. Then I jump straight to the swimming pool and dip my body there (although the pool had closed). After swimming for about 45 minutes, I went up and prepared to sleep.

On the next day, I had breakfast with my family. Then we went to the pool and had a great time there. I had my oppurtunity to swim in the pool and the beach nearby. Then we packed up and checked-out from the hotel in the afternoon. Before we went back home, we visited the Muzium Tentera Darat in Port Dickson. I took pictures with the weaponries like the anti-air gun, armoured car and aeroplane exhibited there. I was also visited the Terowong PKM (communist party of Malaya tunnel) that exhibited the real situation inside communist tunnel and there was some dioramas to give a clearer picture how they lived inside the tunnel during the emergency period. After the visit, we had our lunch in PD town. Before we made our move home, we visited Muzium Lukut. This museum exhibit the history and culture of Negeri Sembilan. Then we headed back home.

It was a really enjoyable for me but unfortunately, I have to work today. I wish I could extend my holiday today, it is Friday! So sleepy since the office is sooooo deserted.

p/s: Finally I got my chance to drive Waja on the way home yesterday. And the fresh tires (Continental ComfortContact 1 195/55R16 85V) performed very well in the corner despite their 'Comfort' nature. No more tail-happy Waja after this. Hehehe~

Buat baik dibalas baik , Insya Allah

Two days ago, I went to KLCC to do some works there. I was riding my motorbike using the Kesas Highway. When I approached the Kewajipan Interchange, I saw a man in his mid 50's (I think) fell from the bike. He explained that he was unable to control his bike when approaching a speed bump after exiting the corner nearby. I pulled over to check on that pakcik and I was glad he was okay and the damage on his bike wasn't so severe. I helped him to lift the bike and I can't shift the gear to neutral. Fearing that the fall had affected the gearbox, I tried several times and luckily it can be shifted to neutral again. The pakcik keep thanking me for the small deed I had done for him. Then I shook hand with him before leaving him there and continued my journey to KLCC.

I arrived at KLCC at about 4 p.m., get my job done and I met Nik who is doing his internship there. He treated me with cendol at BSN building nearby. The cendol tastes good, thanks dude! Then, I performed my Asar prayer before meeting her at 5.30 p.m. We had our drink (actually it was just me drinking) and had a little chat. Although the chat did not went so well, but I really appreciate the time we had and I can clarify on some issues. Thanks for that.

On the next day, I came to work as usual driving Kancil (xlarat nk bwk moto after pegi KLCC ari seblomnye). It was a hectic day for me as they are performing FAT (factory acceptance test) for MOQ Genset. Due to some technical glitches, the test can only be performed in the afternoon. So, to kill the time, we, the interns went to Jaya Jusco Bukit Tinggi. Then we had our lunch at Bukit Badak, performed the Zuhur prayer and went back to the yard for the test. Still, the test cannot be done that day since the hot fuel had caused the genset unable to reach the desired efficiency. So, we were doing some modifications to cool down the fuel before feeding it to the MTU engine. En. Zamir (my supervisor), had instructed me and Zopak to design the MCB (miniature circuit breaker) box holder for the MOQ genset. He was kind enough to provide us with our own working tools (screw drivers, test pen, plier and measuring tape) to make our job easier. He gave us RM100 to shop for the new tools. Thanks En. Zamir! Hehehe~

Community Game

Yesterday, the residents committee of Taman Sri Putra, Banting (that's where I live) held a community games. The games are football for men and netball for women. There are three persons of my family took part in netball. They are my mom, and my sisters; Haziqah and Wajihah. The game start at about 10 o'clock in the morning and there are three teams took part in the game. I came down to the pitch to support the team manned by my family members. Although they've lost in all the 3 games (by a very thin hair), everybody seems happy with this activity as they can mingle around with the people around the neighbourhood. And I must salute to the makciks including my mom who played the netball for their skills in the game and can even outperformed the younger player in the team. There was really hidden talents there. Sekadar gambar hiasan

Another day at office... Nothing to do... Planning to do a 2-week report after Friday prayer to fill in my time before punch out at 6 p.m. So, I just want to post rubbish here to fill up my pastime.

1. I've been monitoring my body weight for 3 days and it maintains at 49kg compared to previous 47kg despite 'heavy' workload. What an achievement!
2. I've discovered something today while driving to work. Do not ever take the corner near Kebun Nanas (I'll post the pix later) above 90 kmph. This morning I drove to the same corner at 110 kmph, missed the usual braking point and I ended up locking the right front wheel at the apex and cost me a second lag (yes, I calculated the travel time every day). What an adrenalin rush!
3. I've spread the Call of Duty 5 (COD5) influence to my engineer, Mr. Iz and he liked it very much. I've helped him with the games installation in his company provided Dell Vostro lappie. He is the COD fans like me too.

Nostalgic Seremban

I've been in Seremban for 5 years during my secondary years in SDAR. Yesterday, I managed to come back there and visit the nostalgic town of mine which has developed tremendously compared to the last 8 years. I managed to capture some pictures around the town and I hope all of you will enjoy them! :)

Blood fest (not literally)

Usually, Aidil Adha is not celebrated as big as we celebrate Aidil Fitri. No new raya outfit (usually we just recycle the aidil fitri outfit) nor new footwears. But, the highlights of Aidil Adha is Qurban where the cows are slaughtered to express one's gratefulness to Allah for the 'rezeki' bestowed upon them. Then the meat will be divided according to the predetermined proportions and distributed to the needy. I was also joined the Qurban ceremony helping them to skin out the cows. There was 4 cows slaughtered that day. Although there was raining heavily, but Alhamdulillah we managed to get the job done by 1 o'clock. Unfortunately, it also cost me my hand. I cut my left middle finger (nice finger to get cut huh?) with my knife when I was sharpening it. Huhuh~

Second Week

I start the second week of my intership today after Aidiladha break yesterday. My work for today is completing wiring diagram of battery changeover panel for MOQ (Maersk Oil Qatar) project. Then I browse my email inbox and found this interesting pictures. I don't know whether I should be motivated by it. Huhuhu~
